Clean up scene
Clean up scene is for photos that are already good but contain distracting elements: passersby, objects on a table, cables, signs, reflections, stains, or clutter.
It is different from Single image edit because you do not need to write a free-form prompt: select the distractions from a guided list and, if needed, add multiple custom items under Other.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”- you want to remove people who are not part of the main subject;
- you want to clean a scene without changing style, light, or composition;
- you want to remove several common distractions through a simple flow;
- you want to preserve the main face, pose, product, animal, or scene.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Input: 1 photo.
- Selections: one or more distractions to remove.
- Other: optional, with multiple custom items supported.
- Markup: optional, useful when you need to point to exact areas.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”When you run the workflow, the app asks the model to:
- identify the main subject;
- preserve it;
- remove only the selected distractions;
- reconstruct the background naturally and consistently.
If you enable Remove people who are not part of the main subject, the model should remove passersby, crowd clutter, photobombers, or reflected people, but must not remove people who belong to the main subject or main group.
When NOT to use it
Section titled “When NOT to use it”- If you need a creative or highly specific edit: use Single image edit.
- If you need to replace the full background: use Background edit.
- If you only want better quality and sharpness: use Enhance photo quality.
